Are You Too Rational to Hear Your Intuition?

Albert Einstein once said, “The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.”

This quote perfectly illustrates what so many of us have felt—we’ve been trained to lead with logic, facts, and reason alone, while the deep, inner knowing of our intuition often goes ignored. But true Divine Wisdom is not about rejecting logic. It’s about restoring balance. It’s about letting the intuitive mind—the voice of the soul—guide the rational mind in service of something greater.

The rational mind helps us execute, organize, and make practical decisions. The intuitive mind, on the other hand, is connected to Spirit. It allows us to sense, feel, and receive guidance that isn’t always linear—but is deeply aligned with truth. When we honor both, we step into powerful, aligned leadership.

As I’ve evolved on my spiritual journey over the past seven years, this balance has become essential to how I lead and build. The more I’ve deepened my self-love and self-trust, the more passionate I’ve become about creating businesses and communities that are rooted in soul, not just strategy.

In 2019, my friend and fellow visionary, Terri Maxwell, invited me to help bring her heart-centered vision to life: a new company created to support conscious entrepreneurs around the world. When she shared that we’d all be earning sweat equity using the “Slicing Pie” model—an innovative and fair way to build shared ownership—and that her team was rooted in purpose, I said yes without hesitation.

By 2020, Shift/Co®, a Public Benefit Corporation, was born—and I became a proud founding member and shareholder.

This global platform offers tools, training, and mentorship to help purpose-driven entrepreneurs grow their businesses, increase their revenue, and amplify their impact. As a member, you receive a personalized growth roadmap and a team of expert coaches supporting every area of your business. And it works—in 2024 over 85% of Shift/Co members doubled their revenue, and the company maintained a 97% monthly member retention rate.

But beyond the numbers, the experience of co-creating Shift/Co was truly life-changing. A diverse group of visionaries came together, united in heart and mission, and built something extraordinary. It wasn’t always easy—we launched just as COVID hit—but with Terri’s visionary leadership and everyone’s dedication, we pivoted quickly and stayed the course.

Shift/Co is just one example of how Divine Wisdom, when honored and followed, can birth a movement. It started as one woman’s inspired idea and became a thriving, heart-centered business with a global impact.
